January was a quiet month, but of course we got to celebrate our awesome son Alex! His birthday is always the highlight of the month. In addition to Legos, one of Alex's favorite things is Nerf guns. He was so excited to get the LONGEST NERF gun for his Birthday.
He is just like his father, loving video games and Star Wars also.
At the end of January, Alex got to show off his skills at the piano in his second piano recital. He is doing so well. Grandma Thompson would be so proud of him. He even bows after his performance.
He does have a great teacher. Mrs. Walsh is amazing, it doesn't even drive her crazy when he plays through her talking and giving instructions. That would make me insane! Thanks Deb!!
Other than celebrate Alex month, January has been pretty quiet. Oh wait! One more awesome thing happened! Alan got a job! He now works for Tellabs in Naperville. What a blessing that he was able to get a good job and still work close to home. I miss having him work from home, but am so grateful that he was able to find employment after just 2 1/2 months! What a blessing! Way to go babe - we love ya! I know you miss watching Let's Make a Deal and The Price is Right, but I know this will be great for you. ;)
